South of the Hunter River just out of Aberdeen lies Brooklyn Lodge. This picturesque rolling countryside already has a reputation for breeding winners such as Baguette and Riesling, both Golden Slipper winners. Throughout its history, Brooklyn Lodge has and will continue to breed thoroughbreds which have found success at the highest level of racing. Lady Of The Desert, a dual stakes winning juvenile and Serenade Rose, winner of the 2005 VRC Oaks, are prime examples of many distinguished winners born and bred at Brooklyn Lodge.
In recent years, the whole property has undergone a complete redevelopment and is now considered one of the finest agistment properties in the Hunter Valley. Brooklyn Lodge is a landmark 800-acre fully irrigated property that has been developed from a historical standardbred stud to a complete thoroughbred agistment and foaling facility.
The property boasts facilities designed by prominent equine architect John Ladd-Hudson, including a 20 box stable block, air-conditioned foaling barn, night watch facilities, lunging ring, parade area, machinery and feed sheds, quarantine facilities and administration centre. Combined with fastidious attention to detail and meticulous management, Brooklyn Lodge provides an ideal environment for quality care of your thoroughbred bloodstock.
Our dedication to client communication and satisfaction is only surpassed by our willingness to go that extra mile, both for you and your bloodstock.
